Christine Braglia
Hygienist
GDC number: 3382
CEB Cert in Dental Hygiene 1987
Christine joined the practice in 2008 and qualified from Guys Hospital in 1987 and has worked in general dental practice ever since. I have always been passionate about preventing dental disease and this is still an ongoing mission. New Road Dental Practice is a family practice and it’s great to see all generations and help them in their quest for healthy mouths.
Gum disease is still a very serious condition that leads to more tooth loss than any other. In building a relationship with the patient based on trust and helpful advice it is possible to eliminate or lessen the impact of this condition. I seek to help my patients learn everything they need to know to help them through this. I always aim to give practical advice and this is very open to change depending on each person’s needs and lifestyle. I have learnt over the years that there is no ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach to dentistry.
I have successfully treated many dental phobic patients over the years and find it very satisfying to give them back control in what was previously a very stressful situation.
On a more personal note I am married and have one son. We enjoy the ‘good life’ in Harefield by growing most of our vegetables and keeping chickens. We also like travelling and some of my best travel destinations have been as a result of helpful advice from my patients!
