Dental Health Exam

When it comes to the health of your teeth and gums, prevention is always better than cure

250

When it comes to tooth and gum disease, did you know that the majority of problems don’t have any obvious symptoms until it’s too late? It is therefore extremely important you are visiting your dentist once a year to ensure your mouth is as healthy as possible.

At New Road Dental you couldn’t be in better hands. All of our dentists have a wealth of experience when it comes to caring for teeth and gums. As well as being able to conduct the majority of dental procedures, we use some of the most up-to-date equipment available and have great relationships with a number of specialists should you require further attention – we only ever want you to receive the best care possible.

As with the majority of health conditions, prevention is better than cure when it comes to the teeth and gums. Left to develop, oral diseases can lead to painful mouths, unattractive smiles and in extreme cases, receding gums and loss of teeth.

Nimesh Patel – Co-Director and Dentist

During your check-up at our practice your dentist will ensure your teeth and gums are as healthy as possible and showing no sign of potential disease. You may also be required to have X-rays taken – this is nothing to worry about. The procedure is painless, takes just a couple of minutes and allows your dentist to examine the roots of your teeth and your jawbone.

Once your exam is complete your dentist will discuss all their findings with you and answer any questions you may have. If you do not require further treatment you may be recommend to visit our dental hygienist for a thorough scale and polish. You can find out more about a hygienist appointment by clicking here.
